Sustainable Living
Sustainable living is an approach to social and economic activities for all societies, rich or poor, which is compatible with the preservation of the environment (Saburo Kato). Sustainability is finding, balance and harmony with nature, economic viability, social justice, ecological soundness and humaneness, without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.
The Justice and Peace Commission brings vital information to the Community by proudly joining efforts with the: North West Earth Institute, Pikes Peak Permaculture, The Video Project and Local and National Educators.
Local and National Educators
We offer ongoing classes on Sustainable Living and Permaculture, work shops through out the year giving hands on education of what we can do on a daily basis to be more sustainable and Movie Night where we show insightful movies on the environment that awaken the mind.
By participating in the events offered you are making a positive change for this generation and future generations.
