Social and Economic Justice

We understand that there cannot be peace in our community or the world without social and economic justice. We address issues of justice such as sexism, racism, and classism, militarism and economic conversion, privatization of essential commodities such as water and air, living/livable wages, consumer lifestyle, the negative effects of capitalism and economic globalization. We raise consciousness, organize, advocate and work with others in coalition. We model social and economic justice in our Board, Staff, and Volunteers as well as in our employment practices and our programs.
